I completed my undergraduate degree at Colgate University (2011) where I studied Astronomy-Physics and Computer Science. I also ran from the Men's Cross Country and Track and Field teams as a long distance runner.

For my graduate degree, I studied at Cornell University (2016) under Dr. Jim Cordes. Besides academic work, I was a member of the Astronomy Grads Network, the Cornell Running Club, the Cornell Track and Field Club, and the High Noon Athletic Club.

For my postdoc, I worked at West Virginia University in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. I worked under Dr. Maura McLaughlin and rescued the best beagle ever, Capella, who was the unofficial mascot of the department.

Now I am an assistant professor in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I still go out for runs, this time with my four-legged companion, like to go on hikes and take the inflatable kayak out, and am still trying to figure out how to manage everything.
